In the field of biotechnology there is an increasing exigency of automated or highly parallel processes of different laboratory work based on sample preparation and library synthesis up to cell assays. The change from manual work to the automatisation of processes often affords a complete modification of systems and is therefore a very labor-intensive and expensive step.
The Fraunhofer IBMT developed a device that enables a swift conversion in production from a small bench scale unit to a larger manufacturing facility.
The exponat shows a "barrier free" platform through which the progress from the idea to a verifying testing phase and finally to the production becomes possible without any power system change. Even with labor-intensive works, this new approach guarantees a high degree of reliability and constant level of quality while remaining entirely flexible at all times.
This system can be used as multi-functional device in biomedical or clinical domains and research centres, for example in companies or institutes of quality assurance, environmental analysis, or risk evaluation of chemicals. Furthermore, agents of food industry or food monitoring, members of pharma industry, and suppliers of sequence libraries will be provided with a good alternative to standard devices.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
