On October, 17 and 18, 2007, parallel to the 3rd World Congress on Regenerative Medicine the Fraunhofer Life Science Symposium takes place in Leipzig. This year's symposium represents the second annual Fraunhofer Life Science Symposium and the main topic is "Tissue Engineering in Veterinary Medicine". The symposium has invited veterinary experts from across Europe in cell therapy and tissue engineering.
Among the speakers are for example Nick Jeffrey from the University of Cambridge, Jeffrey Hubbell from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Johanna Plendl from the Free University of Berlin, Gottfried Alber from the University of Leipzig as well as further renowned scientists.
