Prof. Dr. Horst Rottmann, Fakultät Betriebswirtschaft, für weitere drei Jahre Forschungsprofessor am ifo Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung in München
Prof. Dr. Horst Rottmann, Fakultät Betriebswirtschaft, ist begleitend zu seiner Lehrtätigkeit an der Hochschule für weitere drei Jahre zum Forschungsprofessor am renommierten ifo Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung in München ernannt worden.
Prof. Dr. Rottmann, Jahrgang 1964, lehrt seit 1999 an der Hochschule in Weiden Volkswirtschaftslehre, Finance und Statistik. Seine Schwerpunkte sind die empirische Wirtschaftsforschung und angewandte Ökonometrie, die Arbeitsmarkt- und Produktivitätsforschung sowie die Finanzmarktanalyse. Seine Lehr- und Forschungstätigkeit ist von zahlreichen wissenschaftlichen Analysen und Publikationen begleitet. Die erstmalige Ernennung von Prof. Dr. Horst Rottmann zum Forschungsprofessor am ifo Institut, Bereich Konjunktur und Finanzmärkte, erfolgte im Jahr 2004.
