Um nichtlineare physikalische Prinzipien geht es bei der internationalen Physikertagung über "Nonlinear Dynamics" vom 7.-10. Oktober 2007 an der Universität Bayreuth, zu der sich 50 international führende Wissenschaftler treffen.
Bayreuth (UBT). Wie organisieren molekulare Motoren und Makromoleküle aus Muskelfasern räumlich Muster? Liegen der Deformation der Erde und der Kontinentalverschiebung ähnliche nichtlineare physikalische Prinzipen zu Grunde? Was ist ein aktives Gel und in welchem Umfang verstehen wir heute Turbulenz?
Um diese und ähnliche Fragen sowie deren gemeinsame, nichtlineare physikalische Prinzipien geht es bei der internationalen Physikertagung über "Nonlinear Dynamics" vom 7.-10. Oktober 2007 an der Universität Bayreuth, zu der sich ca. 50 international führende Wissenschaftler treffen und die von der renommierten Heraeus-Stiftung gefördert wird.
Die Nichtlineare Dynamik ist einer der Forschungsschwerpunkte an der Universität Bayreuth und es ist die dritte internationale Tagung über "Nonlinear Dynamics" (od. Nichtlineare Dynamik") in Folge, die von den Bayreuther Physikprofessoren Ingo Rehberg und Walter Zimmermann organisiert wird.
