Am Dienstag, dem 13. November 2007, 13:00 Uhr, spricht der Harvard- Professor Dr. Sunney Xie am Institut für Photonische Technologien Jena (IPHT) in englischer Sprache über das Thema: "Single-Molecule Imaging of Biochemical Processes in Living Cells and Vibrational Imaging of Metabolites and Drugs in Living Organisms". Der Vortrag findet im Sitzungssaal des Instituts für Photonische Technologien e.V., Albert-Einstein-Strasse 9, statt.
Prof. Xie ist Pionier der so genannten CARS-Mikroskopie und einer der führenden Wissenschaftler der Biospektroskopie, die auch am IPHT eine zunehmende Rolle spielt.
Hinweis für die Redaktionen: Am Dienstag, 13.11., wird es zur Thematik eine ausführlichere Pressemitteilung mit Fotos von Prof. Xie in den Labors des IPHT geben.
