Vizepräsident Prof. Dr. Holger Fischer ist heute, am 24. Januar 2008, vom Akademischen Senat für eine weitere Amtszeit bestätigt worden.
Der Akademische Senat folgte damit dem Vorschlag von Universitätspräsidentin Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Monika Auweter-Kurtz. Der Finnougrist Fischer gehört seit April 2003 dem Präsidium an und ist verantwortlich für Studium und Lehre. Die Universitätspräsidentin gratulierte Prof. Fischer zu seiner Wiederwahl und sagte: "Ich danke Holger Fischer für seine Bereitschaft, dem Präsidium für eine weitere Amtsperiode zur Verfügung zu stehen. Er hat zwei der ehrgeizigsten Reformprojekte an der Universität erfolgreich auf den Weg gebracht - die Umstellung der Studiengänge auf das Bachelor- und Mastersystem und die Einführung der Campussoftware STiNE. Ich bin sehr froh, dass das Präsidium weiterhin von den profunden Kenntnissen und der Integrationskraft von Holger Fischer profitieren wird."
