Die Max-Planck-Gesellschaft unterstützt die DFG-Stellungnahme
Der deutsche Bundestag wird am 14. Februar 2008 über eine Änderung des seit 2002 geltenden Stammzellgesetzes (StZG) beraten und voraussichtlich am 13. März 2008 abstimmen. Die Max-Planck-Gesellschaft unterstützt dabei die jüngste Stellungnahme der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) vom 10. November 2006 als Ideallinie für die Wissenschaft. So fordert die DFG die Abschaffung der Stichtagsregelung, die Einfuhr von Zelllinien auch für diagnostische, präventive und therapeutische Zwecke sowie die Aufhebung der Strafandrohung für Wissenschaftler.
