The University of Augsburg again offers in 2008 the Augsburg Summer Program to international foreign students to join German practicing lawyers and German postgraduate law students for a unique studying experience for a six-week intensive course.
The intention of this Program is to impart knowledge in the basic framework of transnational Economic Law through lectures and examination courses in order to meet the increasing requirements of companies and law firms in this field. Several guest professors from the U.S.A., Italy and France offer courses about their specific area of legal research or comparative law issues. All of the lectures and talks will be offered in English. There are no courses held on Friday. This gives participants the chance to explore social life in Augsburg and participate in trips and excursions organized by the university.
In 2008 the Augsburg Summer Program will take place between June 23rd and August 1st.
The program aims at qualified law students from all over the world. Participants must have successfully completed their first year of law school, however the University of Augsburg also welcomes graduate students interested in an additional qualification in the field of international business law.
Tuition is 500 Euro, including a 50 Euro administration fee, which is not refundable. Applications for the 2008 Summer Program will be accepted until Friday, May 9th 2008.
