Die Hochschulen müssen sich den E-Learning-Wünschen der jungen Internetgeneration stellen. Ein Beispiel ist das "eLene-Teaching and Learning Centre" als eine europaweite Plattform von Hochschullehrenden und Lernenden für den Einsatz von modernen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien in der Bildung. Im Rahmen des von der Europäischen Union geförderten Projektes, an dem europaweit acht Universitäten beteiligt sind, veranstaltet das Zentrum für Multimedia in der Lehre der Universität Bremen am 17. und 18. April 2008 das internationale "Bremen eLearning Forum". Ziel ist, allen Interessierten - ob Dozent oder Student, Didaktiker oder Techniker - Gelegenheit zum Gedanken- und Erfahrungsaustausch zu geben.
