Es geht ihnen um die Beherrschung von Schweißverzügen und des thermischen Formens: Während der IWOTE'08 (2nd International Workshop on Thermal Forming and Welding Distortion) vom 22. bis 23. April 2008 des Bremer Instituts für angewandte Strahltechnik (BIAS) präsentieren 40 Experten aus mehr als zehn Ländern ihre neuesten Erkenntnisse auf diesem Gebiet. Mit dem Fokus auf industrielle Anwendungen werden Erfahrungen und Potenziale diskutiert. Der offene Workshop richtet sich an Fachleute aus Forschung, Entwicklung und Wirtschaft.
