Die Wissenschaftsreferenten ausländischer Botschaften informieren sich zurzeit über die Forschung in Sachsen. Über 30 Referenten weilten dazu heute in Leipzig am Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung (UFZ), am Leibniz-Institut für Troposphärenforschung (IfT) und am Max-Planck-Institut für Evolutionäre Anthropologie. Dabei ging es unter anderem um Wasserressourcenmanagement, Megacities, Verlust an Bestäubern, Erkundungstechnologien für Altlastenstandorte und den Einfluss von Wolken auf den Klimawandel. Die Informationsreise wurde organisiert vom Internationalen Büro des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF). Am morgigen Donnerstag stehen verschiedene Forschungsinstitute in Dresden auf dem Besuchsprogramm.
