Altrektor Prof. Dr. iur. Jürgen Kohler, Ordinarius für Zivilprozeßrecht, hat die Deutsche Hochschulrektorenkonferenz HRK zum deutschen Hochschulmitglied im Hochschul- und Forschungsausschuß (CC-HER) des Europarates ernannt.
Der Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft hat Prof. Kohler als Mitglied in die Expertenkommission »Vergleich der Landeshochschulgesetze« aufgenommen.
Prof. Dr. med. Christine Schütt hat die Gesellschaft Deutscher Naturforscher und Ärzte den Gruppenvorsitz Medizin für die 122. Versammlung übertragen. Diese 122. Versammlung findet vom 21. bis zum 24. 9. 2002 in Halle an der Saale statt.
