Vortrag am Donnerstag, 12. Juni 2008, 18:00 Uhr, Vortragssaal der VHS Trier
Der Referent des nächsten Vortrages des "Kolloquium Zukunft: Europa vor globalen Herausforderungen", Peter Wahl, studierte in Mainz, Aix-en-Provence und Frankfurt am Main Gesellschaftswissenschaften und Romanistik. Er ist Mitarbeiter der Nicht-Regierungs-Organisation "Weltwirtschaft, Ökologie & Entwicklung - WEED". Wahl ist Mitbegründer von ATTAC Deutschland und Mitglied im Rat von ATTAC. Deren Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind die Globalisierung, Finanzmärkte und Welthandel. Peter Wahl hat unter anderem folgende Bücher veröffentlicht: Warum Montezuma nicht Europa entdeckt hat, Köln 1991. Global Governance - Alternative zur neoliberalen Globalisierung?(mit Brand u.a.), Münster 2000. PR-Show oder Weltregierung? Die Bedeutung der G8 Gipfel in der globalisierten Welt, Hamburg 2006. Peter Wahl spricht zum Thema "Global Economic Governance und Finanzkrise".
