Die junge Geigerin Alexandra Conunova aus Moldawien hat beim diesjährigen "Henri-Marteau-Violin-Wettbewerb" in Lichtenberg den 2. Preis, den Bach-Preis und den Preis der Jugend-Jury gewonnen. Sie studiert seit 2004 an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock in der Klasse von Prof. Petru Munteanu, ist seit 2005 Stipendiatin der Horst-Rahe-Stiftung und bereits Preisträgerin vieler nationaler und internationaler Wettbewerbe. Erst im November 2007 erspielte sie sich beim Wettbewerb der SINFONIMA-Stiftung der Mannheimer Versicherung eine sehr wertvolle Geige von Vincenzo Rugieri aus dem Jahr 1720.
