Am Sonnabend, 5. Juli, spielt Prof. Dr. Bernd Scherers eine "Orgelmusik zur Marktzeit" in der Nikolaikirche Flensburg.
Das Programm ist vielschichtig: Der Konzertorganist, Musikwissenschaftler und -didaktiker bringt ab 11 Uhr Werke sowohl aus dem Barock und der Romantik zu Gehör als auch moderne Orgelmusik. Die Zuhörer können sich freuen auf Originalwerke von César Franck, Alexandre Guilmant und Percy E. Fletcher und auf eine selten zu hörende Bearbeitung des Adagio Opus 11 für Orchester von Samuel Barber. Die Matinee dauert etwa 45 Minuten, der Eintritt ist frei.
Prof. Dr. Bernd Scherers studierte Orgelmusik in Köln und Paris; seit 14 Jahren lehrt und forscht er an der Universität Flensburg und gibt jährlich rund 30 Konzerte in ganz Europa.
