Neue Länder - neue Sitten?
Chemnitzer Tagung zur Stadtentwicklung in Ostdeutschland
Am 2. und 3. Februar 2001 debattieren im Renaissance Hotel Chemnitz Experten und Interessierte aus allen Bereichen der Gesellschaft über die Entwicklung ostdeutscher Städte. Dabei geht es beispielsweise um Strategien im Umgang mit dem Wohnungsleerstand in vielen Kommunen, um die kulturelle Entwertung des Siedlungstyps "Platte" und um den Vergleich der Stadtentwicklung in den Ländern Europas. Veranstalter sind die Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, das Institut für Soziologie der Technischen Universität Chemnitz, das UFZ Umweltforschungszentrum Leipzig-Halle und das Institut für Sozialwissenschaften der Humboldt-Universität Berlin.
