There is an increasing need for multidisciplinary simulations in various research and engineering fields. Fluid-structure interaction, magneto-hydro dynamics, thermal coupling, plasma computations, or coupled manufacturing processes define only a subset of potential multiphysics applications. The 10th "MpCCI User Forum", February 17 - 18, 2009, is a well known meeting of engineers and scientists from industry and research.
Sankt Augustin. In most cases a single (proprietary) simulation system cannot provide all necessary features. Coupling of the most suitable codes for each necessary discipline will enable more flexibility and simulation quality to the end user.
Coupling of different simulation codes, each specialized for a specific physical regime, is becoming more and more important for numerical simulations, both in industry and in research. The reason is that in many real-world applications the interaction of different physical phenomena must be taken into consideration in order to achieve high-quality predictions.
The 10th MpCCI User Forum (February 17 - 18, 2009) addresses to engineers and scientists from industry and research, who have recognized multi-disciplinary problems as a focal point of their simulation work.
Users of simulation tools as well as providers of simulation software, who want to set up and run coupled simulation environments, should have a close look on this event.

English

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
