Beim 6. Deutschen BioSensor Symposium an der Universität Freiburg vom 29. März bis 1. April 2009 werden die neuesten Entwicklungen der Biosensorik und ihrer kommerziellen Anwendungen vorgestellt.
Der Einsatz von Nanotechnologie und Mikrosystemtechnik sowie die Entwicklung neuer smarter Materialien und integrierter Lab-on-Chip Systeme für Point-of-care Diagnostik und Screening sind Schwerpunkte des Symposiums. Parallel zum Symposium findet eine Industrieausstellung statt.
Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Biomedizinische Technik im VDE (DGBMT) beteiligt sich an dem Symposium. Veranstalter ist das Institut für Mikrosystemtechnik der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Gerald Urban.
