Dr. Heike Raddatz erhielt den Ruf auf die W2-Professur 'Chemie/Lebensmittelchemie' und hat ihren Dienst zum 1. März aufgenommen. Raddatz kommt von der TU Dresden, wo sie die Lehrgebiete 'Kosmetische Mittel' und 'Bedarfsgegenstände' aufgebaut hat. In Trier wird sie sich neben der Lehre auch weiterhin der Naturstoffforschung widmen. Raddatz tritt die Nachfolge von Professor Dr. Haas an.
Dr. Michael Maas wurde für die W2-Professur 'Tragsysteme, Konstruieren und Material' in der Fachrichtung Architektur auf eine W2-Professur berufen. Er wechselte zum 4. März von der Uni Wuppertal. Der Bauingenieur hatte dort eine neuartige Software für die Ausbildung von Architekten entwickelt.
