Dr. Franz Weitl erhält DAAD-Stipendium
Der Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD) hat Dr. Franz Weitl, derzeit Postdoc am Lehrstuhl für Informationsmanagement von Prof. Dr. Burkhard Freitag, ein Stipendium für einen einjährigen Forschungsaufenthalt von September 2009 bis August 2010 an dem renommierten japanischen Forschungszentrum "National Institute of Informatics" zugesprochen. Mit über 400 Wissenschaftlern ist das National Institute of Informatics eines der führenden Kompetenzzentren der Informatik in Asien. Zusammen mit der Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Shin Nakajima (Ph.D.) wird Dr. Weitl Verfahren zur Fehleranalyse in komplexen dynamischen Systemen wie Computersoftware oder Geschäftsprozessen entwickeln.
