Dr. Thomas Kathöfer hat heute das Amt des HRK-Generalsekretärs angetreten. Der promovierte Wirtschaftsingenieur hat zuletzt das Präsidialamt der Technischen Universität Berlin geleitet. Er hat sowohl als Wissenschaftler langjährige Erfahrungen gesammelt als auch in verschiedenen Leitungspositionen des Hochschulmanagements gearbeitet. Die Präsidentin der Hochschulrektorenkonferenz (HRK), Prof. Dr. Margret Wintermantel: "Herr Kathöfer wird die Geschäftsstelle auf die Herausforderungen einstellen, die sich aus den enormen Veränderungen in den Hochschulen ergeben."
