Die an der Fachhochschule Mainz ansässige Gesellschaft für Kreativität e.V. hat ihren Ehrenpreis CREO in Berlin zum dritten Mal verliehen:
Nach BIONADE (2007) und LEGO (2008) wurde nun die lebende
Legende Prof. Dr. Edward de Bono für sein Lebenswerk gewürdigt,
das 1969 mit dem Buch The Mechanism of Mind begann und mit seinem
letzten Werk Think - before it is too late noch kein Ende gefunden hat.
Dazwischen liegen 70 Bücher, die in alle Weltsprachen übersetzt wurden.
Da 2009 von der EU zum Jahr der Kreativität und Innovation erklärt worden war, wollte die Jury erstmals einen großen Europäer ehren.
Edward de Bono ist die weltweit führende Persönlichkeit auf dem Gebiet des Kreativen Denkens, das wollten wir aus deutscher Sicht entsprechend würdigen, so der Mainzer Marketingprofessor Dr. Jörg Mehlhorn, der die Laudatio auf de Bono hielt und die gemeinnützige Gesellschaft seit 2002 leitet.
