Die Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (ITG) und die Gesellschaft für Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik im OVE (GIT) organisieren den World Telecommunications Congress 2010 in Wien. Am 13. und 14. September 2010 diskutieren internationale Experten aus Politik, Industrie und Forschung unter dem Motto "Telecommunications - The Infrastructure for the 21. Century" über zukünftige Entwicklungen der Telekommunikationstechnik.
