Das Programm "Benutzerfreundliche Informationsgesellschaft" (IST) der Europäischen Kommission fördert innovative Projekte aus dem Bereich der Informationstechnologie.
An jedem IST-Projekt muss neben dem deutschen Antragsteller noch mindestens ein Partner aus einem weiteren europäischen Land beteiligt sein. Diese Aufgabe wird durch das Netzwerk ideal-ist gelöst.
Ideal-ist verteilt durch den e-mail Service "ideal-ist News" Partnergesuche aus 31 europäischen Ländern. Eigene Gesuche werden mit mindestens fünf Antworten an 31 europäische Koordinierungs-Stellen und an deren Klientel weitergeleitet.

- Informationen zu Konferenzen
