Deutschland behält Spitzenstellung in der internationalen elektrotechnischen Normung
Jedes Jahr würdigt die Internationale Elektrotechnische Kommission (IEC) Normungsexperten mit dem IEC 1906 Award, die sich mit besonderem Engagement um die internationale Normung in der Elektro- und Informationstechnik verdient gemacht haben. "Wir sind sehr stolz, dass wir erneut einen führenden Platz einnehmen - 17 von 126 Preisträgern des IEC 1906 Award kommen aus Deutschland. Mit ihrer Tatkraft tragen die Herren sehr zum Ansehen der deutschen Normung auf nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Ebene bei", so Dr. Bernhard Thies, Sprecher der Geschäftsführung der DKE Deutsche Kommission Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik im DIN und VDE. Wie bereits im vergangenen Jahr steht Deutschland an der Spitze der internationalen elektrotechnischen Normung. Die DKE nimmt derzeit in der IEC mit 33 Vorsitzenden (vor USA mit 29, Großbritannien mit 23 und Frankreich mit 19) und 36 Sekretären (vor USA und Frankreich mit 25 und Großbritannien mit 18) den ersten Platz ein.
