In der 108. ordentlichen Sitzung des Konzils wurde am heutigen Montag,
22. Oktober 2001 Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Wolfgang Treimer zum neuen Vizepräsidenten für Forschung, Entwicklung und Technologie-Transfer der Technischen Fachhochschule Berlin gewählt. Von den 49 Mitgliedern des Konzils waren 44 anwesend.
Zur Wahl standen der amtierende zweite Vizepräsident Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Jahnke, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Gudrun Kammasch (Studiengang Lebensmitteltechnologie), Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Rainer Senz (Studiengang Pharma- und Chemietechnik) sowie Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Wolfgang Treimer (Studiengang Physikalische Technik/Medizinphysik).
Im ersten und zweiten Wahlgang erhielt kein Kandidat die Mehrheit der abgegebenen gültigen Stimmen. Im dritten Wahlgang bekam Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Rainer Senz 13 Stimmen, Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Jahnke 15 Stimmen und Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Treimer 16 Stimmen.
