Prof. Monika Medick-Krakau wird Nachfolgerin von
Prof. Hans-Heinrich Trute
In der heutigen Sitzung des Konzils der TU Dresden wurde die Politikwissenschaftlerin als Prorektorin für Bildung gewählt.
Monika Medick-Krakau ist Professorin für Internationale Politik an der Philosophischen Fakultät der TU Dresden.
Außerdem wurde über den Entwurf zum Sächsischen Hochschulkonsens abgestimmt. Mit großer Mehrheit lehnten die Konzilmitglieder den Vertrag ab.
Als Gründe für die Ablehnung wurden unter anderem die geplante Gestaltung des Stellenabbaus und nicht auszuschließende Haushaltssperren genannt. Der Entwurf in seiner jetzigen Form entziehe den Hochschulen die Grundlage für eine systematische Profilierung und wettbewerbsorientierte Neustrukturierung.
