Das interdisziplinäre Projekt "air liquide - flüssige Luft", eine experimentelle Arbeit von drei Studentinnen der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee (KHB) wird bei "Buttenheim" gezeigt. Inspiriert durch fotografische und filmische Aufnahmen von sprudelnden Luftblasen in Wasser entwickelten Patricia Jaecklin und Clara Kraetsch aus dem Fachgebiet Textil- und Flächen-Design Textilien im Digital- und Siebdruck. Durch Beschichtung mit Latex und andere Verfahren entstanden neue visuelle und textile Qualitäten. Doreen Schulz aus dem Fachgebiet Mode-Design gestaltete aus den Stoffen skulpturale Modelle.
Das interdisziplinäre Studienprojekt "air liquide - flüssige Luft", das die Professoren Eva Mücke und Jürgen Gotenbach betreuten, wird nun im einzigen deutschen "Icon Store" der Firma Levis Strauss "Buttenheim", Neue Schönhauser Straße 15, Berlin-Mitte, vom 8. Dezember 2001 bis zum 5. Januar 2002 mit Fotos, Modellen und einer Videoinstallation präsentiert.
Die Ausstellung wird am Sonnabend, dem 8. Dezember 2001, um 17.00 Uhr eröffnet.
