Französischsprachiges Seminar zum Thema „Le texte et le lieu“

Europäische Literatur wird am kommenden Mittwoch im Institut français lebendig: Bei einem Forschungsseminar zum Thema „Le texte et le lieu“ – „Der Text und der Ort“ sind gleich zwei Autoren zu Gast. Der Essayist Bertrand Westphal, Autor des Werkes „Géocritique. Réel, Fiction, Espace“, spricht um 10 Uhr über die so genannte Geokritik. Dabei handelt es sich um eine literarische Theorie und Analysemethode, die sich mit dem Studium des geographischen Raumes in der Literatur befasst. Dabei wird auch der Einfluss der literarischen Beschreibungen von Orten auf ihre gängigen Darstellungen untersucht. Der Schriftsteller Camille de Toledo, Autor von „Le Hêtre et le Bouleau – Essai sur la tristesse européenne“, ist ab 14:30 Uhr im Institut français zu Gast. Er spricht über die „Entzauberung“ und Melancholie Europas.
Weitere Themen des Forschungsseminars sind die Werke „Education européenne“ von Romain Gary (1945) und „L´Europe buissonnière“ von Antoine Blondin (1949). Ab 15:30 Uhr geht es um die europäische Gesellschaft der Autoren, im Anschluss findet ab 16 Uhr eine öffentliche Diskussion zu den Themen statt. Ab 18 Uhr ist der Professor der Universität Paris-Sorbonne, Georges-Henri Soutou zu Gast an der Universität des Saarlandes (Gebäude B3 1, Hörsaal I). Er spricht über „Europa als Wille und Vorstellung“. Soutou ist Autor des Buches „L´Europe de 1815 à nos jours“. Veranstaltet wird das Forschungsseminar von der Professorin für französische Literatur im europäischen Kontext, Valérie Deshoulières.
