Wie in den vergangenen Jahren ist auch in diesem Wintersemester Prof. Plattner, Vorstandssprecher und Mitbegründer der SAP AG, zu Gast am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik. In seiner Vorlesung "Technologie eines integrierten Informationssystems" werden neben der Entwicklungsgeschichte des ERP-Systems R/3 auch Themen wie Internet-Portale, elektronische Marktplätze, Supply Chain Management und Customer Relationship Management behandelt. Prof. Plattner lässt in die Vorlesung viele Beispiele und Erfahrungen aus der Praxis in Form anschaulicher Story-Telling-Elemente einfließen.
Die Veranstaltung ist nicht nur für Studenten interessant, die im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik einen Schein erwerben wollen, sondern für alle, die sich für die Vergangenheit und Zukunft der SAP AG und ihrer Produkte sowie der Informationstechnologie im Allgemeinen interessieren.
