Auch in diesem Jahr präsentieren saarländische Hochschulen, Forschungsinstitute und junge Spin-Off-Firmen wieder Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte "made in Saarland".
Vom 13. bis 20. März 2002 trifft sich die Branche erneut auf der weltgrößten Messe der Informations- und Telekommunikationstechnik. Der saarländische Forschungsstand als Schaufenster innovativer Forschung und Entwicklung wird auch bei der diesjährigen CeBIT auf sich aufmerksam machen und dazu beitragen, das Profil des Saarlandes weiter zu schärfen.
Unter dem Motto "Informatikland Saarland " präsentieren die Universität des Saarlandes, die Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes sowie acht Spin-Off-Unternehmen aus saarländischen Hochschulen und Instituten aktuelle Projekte und Entwicklungen. Der Stand des Deutschen Forschungszentrums für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Die ausstellenden Teams stellen sich als effektive Partner für zukunftsweisende Lösungen vor und dokumentieren gleichzeitig das fruchtbare Zusammenspiel von Hochschulforschung, Projekt- und Produktentwicklung sowie dem Know how junger Firmen.
Der Forschungsstand wird federführend von der Kontaktstelle für Wissens- und Technologietransfer der Universität des Saarlandes organisiert.
