Bewerbungsfrist endet am 15. März!
Vom 21-23 Juni 2002 findet das internationale Kurzfilmfest Hildesheim "BEST BEFORE 2002" zum sechtsten Mal in Hildesheim statt. Veranstaltungsorte des Filmwettbewerbs sind das idyllisch gelegene "Trillke Gut" sowie das Restaurant "NIL" im international bekannten Hildesheimer Roemer-Pelizaeus-Museum. Veranstaltet wird das Festival von "Medienkultur e.V.", einem Verein, der sich aus Studierenden des Fachbereichs "Kulturwissenschaften und Ästhetische Kommunikation" der Universität Hildesheim zusammensetzt. Im Rahmen des Festivals werden mehr als 60 Produktionen aus dem In- und Ausland gezeigt. Verliehen werden ein Publikumspreis, fünf genrespezifische Jurypreise und ein Preis zum Sonderthema "Das Andere, das Fremde". Letzteres Thema wird in Kooperation mit dem Institut für audiovisuelle Medien der Universität erarbeitet. Die Ausschreibungsfrist endet am 15. März 2002.
