Prof. Dr. Albrecht Soellner fuer Viadrina ernannt
Fuer die Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultaet der Europa-Universitaet Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) wurde am 21. Maerz 2002 Prof. Dr. Albrecht Soellner ernannt. Der Noch-Muensteraner uebernimmt den Lehrstuhl fuer Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Internationales Management.
Albrecht Soellner, geboren am 9. Januar 1961 in Berlin, studierte an der Freien Universitaet Berlin Betriebswirtschaftslehre und promovierte dort im Jahr 1992. Er habilitierte sich 1999 an der Humboldt-Universitaet Berlin. Es schloss sich eine Lehrstuhlvertretung an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universitaet Magdeburg an. Seit Juli 2000 hatte Prof. Soellner den Lehrstuhl fuer Betriebswirtschaftslehre am Institut fuer oekonomische Bildung der Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultaet der Westfaelischen Wilhelms-Universitaet Muenster inne. Er lehrte unter anderem bereits an der Aarhus School of Business in Daenemark und der Georgia State University Atlanta, Georgia. Vor Beginn seiner wissenschaftlichen Laufbahn arbeitete Prof. Soellner als Bankkaufmann in Berlin und Kapstadt, Suedafrika.
Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Neue Institutionenoekonomik, Interorganisationale Kooperation, Institutioneller und Organisationaler Wandel und Globale Arbeitsteilung.
