MA - Leipzig, 09.04.2001 - Der Lehrstuhl für Unternehmensrechnung und Controlling, Revisions- und Treuhandwesen an der Handelshochschule Leipzig veranstaltet das 8. HHL-Controllingforum zum Thema "Enron: Some of the Causes and Consequences" am Freitag, den 19. April 2002 um 10.30 Uhr auf dem Campus der Handelshochschule Leipzig (HHL).
Professor Stephen A. Zeff, Herbert S. Autrey Professor of Accounting, von der Rice University, Houston (Texas/USA) konnte für einen Vortrag gewonnen werden, um einige der Hintergründe des Falles aufzuzeigen, der auch in Deutschland auf reges Interesse stößt. Professor Zeff wird erforderliche Maßnahmen für eine Anpassung der bestehenden echnungslegungs- und Überwachungsvorschriften in den USA zur Diskussion zu stellen.
