Zwei Fakultäten der Uni Jena stehen andere "Repräsentanten" vor
Jena (10.04.02) Turnusgemäß haben an zwei Fakultäten der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena zum Semesterbeginn die Dekane gewechselt. In der Physikalisch-Astronomischen Fakultät amtiert seit Monatsbeginn Prof. Dr. Andreas W. Wipf, dem Prof. Dr. Paul Seidel als neuer Prodekan zur Seite steht. Wipf hat den Lehrstuhl für Quantentheorie inne, Seidel ist Professor für Angewandte Physik/Tieftemperaturphysik.
In der Biologisch-Pharmazeutischen Fakultät ist Prof. Dr. Ralf Oelmüller zum Dekan gewählt worden. Seine Stellvertreterin ist Prof. Dr. Beatrice L. Pool-Zobel. Oelmüller ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Pflanzenphysiologie, Pool-Zobel bekleidet den Lehrstuhl für Ernährungstoxikologie.
Die Dekane und Prodekane vertreten die Fakultät und sind Vorsitzende des Fakultätsrates. Sie sind von diesen gewählt worden und amtieren für zwei Jahre.
