Der Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik des E-Business an der Handelshochschule Leipzig (HHL) lädt herzlich ein zum 1. Data-Mining-Forum an der HHL am Donnerstag, den 16. Mai 2002.
Das Data-Mining-Forum ist eine Vortragsreihe der HHL, die in Zusammenarbeit mit net4com: Das Partner Netzwerk für Ihr E-Business organisiert wird.
Data Mining ist die Gewinnung von neuem, nicht trivialem, interessantem und vor allem ökonomisch umsetzbarem Wissen aus riesigen Datenbeständen. Im Fokus des Data-Mining-Forums an der HHL steht jedoch der Einsatz von Data Mining zur Lösung betriebswirtschaftlicher Probleme. Das Ziel ist die Förderung eines anregenden Dialogs zwischen unternehmerischer Praxis und wissenschaftlicher Forschung auf diesem sehr dynamischen Gebiet.
