Deutsch-amerikanisches Forscherteam identifiziert Enzym, das die Entstehung von Autoimmunerkrankungen verhindert
Forscher am Max-Planck-Institut in Hannover und am Rockefeller Institut in New York, USA, konnten jetzt ein Enzym - die ProteinkinaseC-delta - identifizieren, das als wichtiger Signalgeber im Immunsystem die verhängnisvolle Entstehung von Autoimmunerkrankungen verhindert. Die in der aktuellen Ausgabe von Nature vom 25. April 2002 publizierten Ergebnisse liefern neue Impulse für die angewandte Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Autoimmunerkrankungen.
