Im Rahmen der Ausstellung "Stadtumbau Ost - Projekte am Schlaatz" hält Prof. Dr. Karl-Dieter Keim, Direktor des Instituts für Regionalentwicklung und Strukturplanung e.V., einen Vortrag zum Thema "Stadtumbau Ost - eine Herausforderung an die Politik zur Regenerierung der ostdeutschen Städte". Der Vortrag findet am 14. Mai 2002 um 18 Uhr in der Fachhochschule Potsdam, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 4 statt.
Prof. Dr. Keim wird in seinem Vortrag die hochaktuelle Problematik der Abwanderung und der schrumpfenden Städte und ihre Auswirkungen auf die ostdeutschen Städte behandeln und auf Fragen der integrierten Steuerung und Organisation des Stadtumbaus eingehen.
Prof. Dr. Keim ist Professor für Stadt- und Regionalentwicklung an der BTU Cottbus. Seit zehn Jahren leitet er das Institut für Regionalentwicklung und Strukturplanung (IRS), das Grundlagen für eine zukunftsfähige Regional- und Stadtentwicklung erforscht.
Die Ausstellung "Stadtumbau Ost - Projekte am Schlaatz" ist noch bis 24. Mai an der Fachhochschule Potsdam, Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 4 zu besichtigen. Der Ausstellungskatalog ist gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 7.-Euro während des Vortrages erhältlich oder kann unter Tel. 0331/5801051 (zzgl. Porto) bestellt werden.
