Anlässlich der Mitgliederversammlung der Forschungsgesellschaft für Arbeitsphysiologie und Arbeitsschutz e.V. am 3.6.2002 wurde Prof. P. Velsinger, ehemaliger Rektor der Universität Dortmund, einstimmig für zwei weitere Jahre in den Vorstand der Forschungsgesellschaft gewählt.
Prof. Dr. P. Velsinger ist langjähriges Mitglied des Vorstandes der Forschungsgesellschaft für Arbeitsphysiologie und Arbeitsschutz e.V.. Außer Prof. Dr. Velsinger gehören dem Vorstand Prof. E. Becker (Rektor der Universität Dortmund), Herr E. Schwabe (DGB) und Herr W. Schultetus (IfaA) an. Die Forschungsgesellschaft ist Träger des Instituts für Arbeitsphysiologie an der Universität Dortmund (IfADo).
Die diesjährige Mitgliederversammlung wurde eröffnet mit einem Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Alwin Luttmann zum Thema "Erfassung und Beurteilung beruflicher Muskel-Skelett-Erkrankungen".
