Am 27. September 2002 führt das Projekt "mathe 2000" mit über 300 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern aus der Bundesrepublik und dem benachbarten Ausland sein 12. Symposium durch. Die Praxis würdigt mit dieser Rekordbeteiligung die von "mathe 2000" lange vor der Bildungsstudie PISA eingeleitete Entwicklungsforschung, die inzwischen Früchte trägt und international anerkannt ist.
"Diese Erfolge wurden erzielt, obwohl in der Bundesrepublik die konstruktive Entwicklungsforschung, ganz im Gegensatz zum Ausland, nicht gefördert wird - ein klares Indiz für die systematische Fehlprogrammierung der deutschen Bildungspolitik", so Prof. Erich Wittmann vom Institut für Entwicklung und Erforschung des Mathematikunterrichts.

Pressegespräch "mathe 2000"
am Mittwoch, 25. September 2002, um 11:00 Uhr,
Raum 415, im Mathematikgebäude
auf dem Campus Nord der Universität Dortmund.
Vorgestellt werden das druckfrische Taschenbuch "Jenseits von PISA: Bildungsreform als Unterrichtsreform", in dem die Projektleiter eine radikale Kritik an PISA üben, sowie der ebenfalls druckfrische erste Band des "kleinen Zahlenbuchs", mit dem "mathe 2000" ganz neue Wege in der mathematischen Frühförderung beschreitet.
