Der Abbau von Kuhfladen wird durch den Einsatz von Medikamenten gegen Wurmbefall stark beeinträchtigt. Die Kot fressenden Käfer werden durch die giftige Wirkung dieser Mittel in ihrer Entwicklung und Vermehrung stark eingeschränkt. Auf der diesjährigen Tagung der Insektenkundler in Halle wurde ein Test vorgestellt, mit dem die Auswirkungen der Medikamente besser beurteilt werden können. (BBA)
