Dr. Paul Krell ist seit dem 1. Mai 2015 Inhaber einer Juniorprofessur für Strafrecht an der Bucerius Law School.
Paul Krell wurde 1983 in Oldenburg (Oldb) geboren. Nach dem Abitur 2003 in Hamburg studierte er von 2004 bis 2009 zuerst in Osnabrück und anschließend in Konstanz, wo er 2009 die Erste juristische Staatsprüfung ablegte. Es folgten das Referendariat in Heidelberg und die Zweite juristische Staatsprüfung 2011.
Anschließend war Paul Krell wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter bei Professor Dr. Björn Burkhardt und dessen Lehrstuhlnachfolger Professor Dr. Jens Bülte an der Universität Mannheim. 2014 wurde er dort mit einer von Professor Dr. Lothar Kuhlen betreuten Arbeit zum Thema „Untreue durch Stellenbesetzungen“ promoviert.
