ESMT receives prestigious international EQUIS accreditation

Ulrike Schwarzberg Corporate Communications and Marketing
European School of Management and Technology (ESMT)

    - Second German business school with the “Triple Crown” of accreditations: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS

    - EQUIS accreditation examines the quality of the entire institution

ESMT European School of Management and Technology has received the EQUIS accreditation for three years. With this accreditation, ESMT now has the “Triple Crown,” made up of the successful accreditations of the world’s three leading business education accrediting bodies AACSB (since 2012), AMBA (since 2009), and EQUIS.

The “Triple Crown” is the highest distinction of quality for business schools worldwide. ESMT is only the second German university with this exceptional seal of approval.

The EQUIS accreditation, awarded by the global association for management development EFMD, controls the quality of the entire institution. Business schools must demonstrate academic excellence, a strong internationalization, as well as relevance through close cooperation with companies.

“The ‘Triple Crown’ once again shows the highly successful development of our business school,” said Jörg Rocholl, President of ESMT. “The judgment of the international accrediting bodies as well as the German Wissenschaftsrat illustrate the educational excellence that is valued by students and employers alike, and which is also reflected in the high rankings of ESMT in the Financial Times, Businessweek, and The Economist. ESMT has proven itself to be one of the leading European business schools.”
