Unter dem Motto „Berlin – smart.digital.capital – living lab des digitalen Wandels“ organisiert das Land Berlin in seiner Rolle als Gastgeber des Nationalen IT-Gipfels der Bundesregierung am 19. November 2015 neun Bustouren. Die Technologiestiftung ist mit einer Tour rund um das Thema „Daten“ beteiligt.
Vier Stationen stehen auf dem Programm der Data Driven Innovation-Tour: Zunächst geht es zur Berliner Morgenpost. Dort zeigt das Interaktiv-Team, wie es Nachrichten in Daten findet und mit Darstellungsformen experimentiert. Anschließend wird die Verkehrsregelungszentrale am Tempelhofer Feld angefahren. Dort werden Daten von 1.100 Messstellen und 250 Videokameras in ganz Berlin für die Verkehrssteuerung ausgewertet. Die dritte Station ist das Smart Data Forum mit seinem Informations-, Demonstrations- und Vernetzungsangebot. An der vierten Station, den T Labs, ist mit dem Umgang strenger Datenschutzkriterien bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung innovativer Produkte ein weiterer wichtiger Aspekt des Themas auf der Tagesordnung.
Die Touren wenden sich an Experten und Pressevertreter, die anlässlich des IT-Gipfels nach Berlin kommen und die hiesige Digitalwirtschaft kennenlernen oder bestimmte Aspekte am Standort vertiefen wollen. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.
