ESMT R&D Annual Report 2015 demonstrates excellence in research and teaching

European School of Management and Technology (ESMT)

    - Four new professors at ESMT faculty

    - ESMT faculty publishes 28 peer-reviewed articles in influential academic journals

    The recently published R&D Annual Report 2015 of ESMT European School of Management and Technology shows that the international business school has again strengthened its high quality in research and teaching.

    The ESMT faculty welcomed four new professors, including Per Olsson, Professor of Accounting and Director of the Center for Financial Reporting and Auditing, Tamer Boyaci, Professor of Management Science, and Xu Li, Assistant Professor of Strategy.

    In 2015 members of the ESMT faculty published 28 peer-reviewed articles in top academic journals, including seven articles in A and A+ ranked publications. These publications included the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Financial Economics, Academy of Management Journal, and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.

    An additional 21 articles have been accepted for publication and are forthcoming. Numerous research events were organized at ESMT with 53 research seminars held on campus in 2015, at which scholars from some of the most prestigious schools presented their research. ESMT also hosted 17 academic conferences, workshops, and open lectures with opinion leaders from academia, politics, and business.
