Auf der diesjährigen NAB Show stellt das Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institut HHI seine neuesten HEVC-Entwicklungen vor.

HEVC hochqualitative Videokodierung mit HDR Unterstützung
Das Fraunhofer HHI zeigt die neueste Generation ihrer weltweit führenden Technologie für H.265/MPEG-HEVC-Software-Encodierung. Die Fraunhofer HHI-Technologie ermöglicht jetzt die Echtzeit-Videokodierung von 10-bit UHD Video mit High Dynamic Range (HDR) und Wide Color Gamut (WCG). Um den wachsenden Bedarf an hochauflösendem Video in Anwendungen wie Video on Demand, Mobile Webstreaming und hochwertigen TV Broadcast gerecht zu werden, skaliert der Encoder von hocheffizienter Echtzeit-Kodierung bis hin zu hochqualitativer schneller Offline-Videokodierung.
