From October 2016, refugees will again be able to attend selected courses at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL) as guest students. The university hosts an information session on Thursday, 22 September 2016, and informs about the courses open for refugees and about registration formalities. The program includes courses such as Business German for Beginners, Marketing and Mathematics as well as topics on Human Rights and Intercultural Communication.
Refugees living in Berlin may attend those courses which are taught in German and English free of charge and without having already received an acceptance letter for a normal university place. For extensive, individual advice, the open consultations run by the Central Student Advisory Service can be used in both, the university campus in the city part of Schöneberg as well as in Lichtenberg. The German Academic Exchange Service financially supports the JUST-program.
