We announce the next meeting of the GPZ study group ‘Cytogenetics’ taking place at the IPK, Gatersleben, Germany, on March 30 – 31 2017. In light of the ongoing progress in the field of cytogenetics and genome editing, the focus of the conference is "Chromosome Biology and Genome engineering in the context of plant breeding".
The program will address a broad spectrum of fundamental and applied aspects of these topics. As Keynote Speaker we have invite:
Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Doležel, DrSc., Institute of Experimental Botany AS CR, Czech Republic
Gabriella Linc PhD, Agricultural Institute, Centre for Agricultural Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary
Prof. Dr. Thomas Schmidt, Technische Universität Dresden, Germany
RNDr. Jiří Macas, PhD., Biology Centre CAS, Czech Republic
Professor Robert Hasterok, PhD, DSc, University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland
Dr. Frank Hartung, Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants, Germany
Stefan Hiekel, Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Germany
Dr. Stefan Heckmann, Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Germany
Steven Dreissig, Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Germany
The meeting provides excellent opportunities to stimulate scientific discussion and interact with international colleagues involved in genome editing, chromosome engineering, advanced cytogenetics and plant breeding.

English
You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
