Die Pädagogin Prof. Dr. Petra Buchwald (Bergische Universität Wuppertal) hat gemeinsam mit Professorin Dr. Kerstin Göbel (Universität Duisburg-Essen) das Lehrbuch „Interkulturalität und Schule“ veröffentlicht. Der Band ist in der Reihe „StandardWissen Lehramt“ erschienen.
Die Entwicklung von Kompetenz im Umgang mit sprachlicher und kultureller Heterogenität ist für Lehramtsstudierende ein wichtiges Bildungsziel. Aber wie kann man sich darauf im Schulalltag vorbereiten? Das Lehrbuch stellt pädagogisch-psychologische, erziehungswissenschaftliche und soziologische Erkenntnisse für die Arbeit mit einer kulturell und sprachlich heterogenen Schülerschaft zusammen. Außerdem werden verschiedene praxisorientierte Förderansätze vorgestellt.
