Nobelpreisträger Prof. Selten hält Vortrag auf der Tagung der verhaltensorientierten Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Erfurt vom 18.-21. September 2003.
Der Lehrstuhl für Mikroökonomie der Universität Erfurt unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Bettina Rockenbach veranstaltet vom 18.-21. September 2003 das European Meeting der Economic Science Association. Die Economic Science Association ist die bedeutendste wissenschaftliche Vereinigung auf dem Gebiet der verhaltensorientierten Wirtschaftswissenschaften (behavioral economics). 150 Teilnehmern aus allen Teilen der Welt werden zu der Tagung im Erfurter Augustinerkloster erwartet. Die Tagung ist die erste nach Vergabe des Nobelpreises im Jahr 2002 an zwei Wissenschaftler dieser Forschungsrichtung (Prof. Vernon Smith und Prof. Daniel Kahneman). "Wir freuen uns besonders, dass auch der erste und bislang einzige deutsche Nobelpreisträger für Wirtschaftswissenschaften Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhard Selten einen Vortrag über seine aktuelle Forschung halten wird", so Prof. Dr. Bettina Rockenbach.
